PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Winner of the Bronze Prize in the Housing – Buildings category of the 2nd Edition of the Lusophone Architecture and Interior Design Awards, the Multifamily building, in Alto do Lumiar, Lisbon, has a commercial first floor and 38 apartments, of typologies T2 to T5, distributed over ten floors above ground and four basement floors (parking and storage rooms).
The large windows expand the natural light, and the balconies connect to the exterior. The fluid architecture, emphasizes horizontal plans, marks the living, directs the verticality to the human scale. Exterior materials and colors, create rhythm and dynamics in the connection of the interior with the exterior. Protected from the north, it opens to the other quadrants and to the views of the city. High standards of indoor environmental quality.
