Winner of the Bronze Prize in the Housing – Buildings category at the 2nd Edition of the Lusophone Architecture and Interior Design Awards, this multifamily building in Alto do Lumiar, Lisbon, features commercial areas on the first floor and 38 apartments, ranging from T2 to T5 typologies, distributed over ten floors above ground and four basement levels (for parking and storage rooms).
The large windows maximize natural light, while the balconies establish a seamless connection with the exterior. The fluid architecture highlights horizontal planes, defines the living spaces, and directs vertical elements to a human scale. The exterior materials and colors introduce rhythm and dynamics, strengthening the bond between the interior and exterior. Protected from the north, the design opens toward the other quadrants, offering panoramic views of the city. It ensures high standards of indoor environmental quality.
