This dental clinic has the distinctive feature of being integrated into a recent building with traditional architecture, which harmonizes with the urban surroundings and gives it a particular charm. This blend of past and present served as the inspiration for a project designed to perfectly complement our client’s excellent services: a bright and welcoming environment where people feel comfortable.

The intention to blend aesthetics and functionality is reflected in the combination of noble materials (such as wood, which conveys warmth and sophistication) with composite materials, ensuring a more resilient, efficient, and durable infrastructure. A good example of this complementarity is the wooden staircase that connects the two floors of the clinic: an original element that has been restored and harmoniously integrated into the contemporary design, respecting the building’s identity.

The space, previously used as a store, was mostly open space. Our project organized the interior to group the medical service areas on the first floor, while the ground floor was designated for ancillary areas, including reception, administrative zone, and staff spaces. All five medical consultation rooms were designed to convey a sense of safety and tranquility to both patients and healthcare professionals. The ancillary areas, featuring a bold yet understated design, exude serenity and comfort.

Designed to enhance our client’s service conditions in the Mãe d’Água area of Lisbon, this project ensures that all patients have a positive experience.
